Giannis Laspias was born in Athens. He is a graduate of Fotiadis Higher Drama School with exams from the Ministry of Culture. He also graduated from the Theology department of the University of Athens as well as from the Librarianship and Information Systems department of the School of Management and Economics. He has starred in many theater and film works as an actor, while he has directed performances and written original plays, but also adapted already well-known ones. A founding member of the theater group Square Theater Company, for years his professional activity has centered on theater and film art.
He is member of the Society of Greek Actors and member of the Society of Greek Directors.
